of the meeting of September 15th,1930 were read and approved.
BILLS against the City,bearing the proper vouchers and approval of the Auditing Committee
were allowed and ordered paid and the Clerk was directed to issue warrants for the same on
motion by Alderman Pearson, seconded by Alderman Fuller, passed by the unanimous vote of
members present and so declared by the Mayor;

The report of the Street Cleaner showing 150 blocks cleaned during the week,also the annual
reports of the Commissioners of School Avenue Improvement District, Douglas Street Improvement Li
Di.strict,and the re -assessment report of the Assessors of West Spring Street showing no chan e
were presented and on motion duly passed were ordered,filed.
A petition asking that the alley between bolcks 19 and 21, Gunterts Addition he
graded to the proper elevati.on,was presented,by C.D.Atkindon and wife. This petition was
referred to the City Engineer for report.
Bids were received,pursuant to the advertisement by the City Fngineer,as per
order of the Council,for construction of a culvert on Third Street. These bids were referred
to the Board of Public Affdirs for consideration and such action as they might take.
The matter of the purchase of Tags for 1931 was brought up, and on motion by Alderman ?gages,
seconded by Alderman Scott,the Mayor and the City Collector were authorized to select the
design and make an order for a supply of tags of various kinds for the ,year 1931.
No further business appearing the Council adjourned,on motion duly ppassed.
