of the meeting of September Bth,1930 were read and approved.
TING BILLS against the City,properly app.roved,were allowed and ordered paid and the Clerk was
directed to issue warrants for the same on motion by Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman
Bynum,hassed by the unanimous vote of the Council and sn declared by the Mayor;-

The report of the street claner,showing 181 blocks cleaned during, the week;
and the renassessments of Annex No.l to West Lafayette, Willow Avenue and Annex to Mont Nord
were presented and on motion were ordered filed.
The City Engineer presented his report and estimate for a culvert over the

spring branch on Third Street,showing an estimated cost of $775.00 for a 40 -foot culvert I
built of re-inforced concrete and stone,with dirt approaches. After discussion by members of
the Council,Alderman Wages moved that the Engineer be instructed to prepare plans and
specifications for said construction and advertise for bids. This motion was dul$ seconded by

Alderman Scttt and received the unanimous vote of the members present,and was declared passed
by the Mayor.
Mr Stubblefield was present,representing the Dairy Association,and addressed
i
the Council on the subject of improving the conditions governing the milk supply of the City;
It appearing that in.all the matters mentioned by Ivir Stubblefield,there were adequate laws
i
already on the Ordinance book,the council and the Mayor suggested that the only thing
'lacking was information as to violations of the ordinances. This information Mr Stubblefield'
claimed could be furnished by the members of the Association. No further action was taken in
;the matter.
