MINUTES of the meeting of August llth,1930 were read and approved, FOLLOWING BILLS against the City,properly approved,were allowed and ordered paid,and the Clerk was rected to issue warrants for the same on motion by Alderman Fuller, seconded by Alderman rding,passed by the unanimous vote of the Council and sb declared by the Mayor; J.W.Shelly $42.50 and $7.50; E,VJ.Shuford $6.00;Ellis Sutton $2,50; A.B.Upton $2.21;Otis Wier .00; S.P. Ro ers $2.00;Ben Proter $18.75; Charles Sawrey $35.50;Dr. Vlm.L.Bleecker $15.00; cas & Cosby 2.40& of the Street Claener,showing 184 blocks -cleaned during the week was presented and ordered filed. HOSE'so; The Board of Publfc Affairs reported that they had awarded a contract for the purchase fire hose as set out in Ordinance Number 729 to the Hewitt Gutta Percha Company for a total cost of $1,441.00 RF -ASSESS- The filing of the re -assessment of North College Avenue Improvement District Number One MEN T OF N. , COLLEGE AVE. of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas 1.vas presented and on motion duly passed the Clerk wa I.D. i directed to publish notice of said filing according to law. REPORTS: - The annual report of the Commissioners of North College Avenue Improvement District and COM'RS. N.COL. Annex Number One thereto were presented,and on motion were ordered filed. ,ut Curb; The request of Mr.,Brown for permision to cut the curb at the Girl's Gym,on Maple Street for the construction of a Drive-in was granted subject to approval of the City Engineer. GARBAGE: (DRAINAGE Spring & ".Fest str I Application was made for a five tear franchise for garbage disposal,action on which was deferred to a later meeting. The matter of drainage control:. at the intersection of Spring Street and West Avenue was referred to the City Engineer for report. No further business appearing, Attest;..
