The Clerk reported having issued the annual notices to Commissioners of Improvement Districts as to making new assessments and their annual reports. At the rgquest of W.S.Duggans, permission was granted to open South College Avenue the purpose of making sewer connection for the Jefferson School Building,sub,ject to super- vision of the City Engineer. r Allen Mayfield made application for permit to install a curb gasoline pump on West Center Street at Block 26. Action on this application was deferred.till next meeting of the Council. The City 'Engineer reported in the matter of drainage for the Varsity Shop,that said drainage could best be cared for by placing about 40 feet of pipe in the culvert,which rep was nccepted by the Council. business appearing,the Council adjourned,on motion duly passed.
