APPROVAL OF BOND SALE, I BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS: , (That the sale of the certain bond issue,in the sum of $20,000.00,for the purpose of purchasing, developing and -improving lands for a flying field,to the Industrial Finance Company,on the 16th day of July,1930,at the price bid,to-wit;101.75,be, and the same is hereby approved. THE MINUTES of the meetings of Ju1Jt 14th and July 17th, 1930 were read/ and approved. THE FOLLOIWING BILLS against the City,properly approved, were allowed and ordered paid and the Clerk II Iwas directed to issue warrants for the same on motion by Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderrpan Scott,passed by the unanimous vote of the Council and so declared by the Mayor; - (Henry Barton $30.00;Ozark Transfer $2.00; Ben Porter $18.75;J.V1.Shelly $42.50; and $'.6.00; Harry E.Hamilton $42.88; Mary Bell Cox $8.55; Loretta Wages $16.80; Boyd Howell $1.00. !PERMIT TO Permit to cut the curb for the construction of a private driveway was granted to 'CUT CURB: ILOGAN: Tom Logan, lots 9,10, Blk.l on College Avenue, subject to supervision by City Engineer. STREET CLEANER'S report showing 195 blocks cleamed during the week was submitted and on motion,filed. iFIRE HOSE: Action on the request of the Board of Public Affairs for the purchase of Fire Hose was deferred. to next meeting. DRAINAGE; The matter of drainare at the Varsity Shop was referred to the City Engineer for investigation• and report. GAS BOND: Mr Woodward withdrew his request for cancellation of the Bond of the Gas Company. HOUSE (MOVING: E P Mr Murphy was granted the privilege of continuing the moving of Houses on South College,one at a time, on his cash bond of $250.00. On motion, the Council adjourned.
