HomeMy WebLinkAbout1930-05-06 Minutes1 1 499 T.B.CON- Alderman Stanford moved that an appropriation sufficient to pay the expenses of the VrTITI ON (City Health Officer,or some member of the Board of Health be made from the General Fund of ' a u. the City,to attend the meeting of the Southern Tuber}sosis Convention to be held in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas on the day of May,1930. Alderman Harding seconded the motion, (which received the following vote; ayes Aldegmen Bynum, Fuller, Harding, Pearson, Scott, Stanford, Stephens,Wages; nays none; absent and not voting none, and was declared passed by ithe Mayor. The Bond of the City Collector, M. Cunningham was presented and on motion by Alderman Harding,seconded by Alderman Bynum was approved and filed. The Clerk reported that he had administeded the oath of office to M. Cunningham as City Collector on the 1st day of May,1930.1 A request from F.M. Tolleson,D.D. For permission to alter the curb at his property on East Maple Street so as to provide access to his driveway,was granted subject to super - vision by the City Engineer, j Pearson Aldermauzmoved "That the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to notify G.A.Huast to appear before the Council at its meeting on Iday 12th,1930,and present the work done by him on the digesting of the City Ordinances, explaining the same in detail." Alderman Wages Iseconded the motion which received the unanimous vote of the members present.
