T.B.CON- Alderman Stanford moved that an appropriation sufficient to pay the expenses of the

(City Health Officer,or some member of the Board of Health be made from the General Fund of

lthe City,to attend the meeting of the Southern Tuberhloeis Convention to be held in the City
' lof Little Rock,Arkansas on the day of May,1930. Alderman Harding seconded the motion,
which received the following vote; ayes Aldeamen Bynum, Fuller, Harding, Pearson, Scott,
Stanford, Stephens,Wages; nays none; absent and not voting none, and was declared passed by
the Mayor.
No further business appearing, the Council a journed,on motion duly passed.,.

directed to issue warrants fdr the same on motion by Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman
Pearson, passed by the unanimous vote of the members present and so declared by the Mayor; -

COLLECT OR The Bond of the City Collector, M. Cunningham was presented and on motion by Alderman
tOND:
Harding,seconded by Alderman Bynum was approved and filed. The Clerk reported that he had
administeded the oath of office to M. Cunningham as City Collector on the 1st day of May,1930.
A request from F.M. Tolleson,D.D. For permission to alter the curb at his property
on East Maol e Street so as to provide access to his driveway,was granted subject to super-
vision by the City Engineer,

to appear before the Council at its meeting on May 12th,1930,and present the work done by
him on the digesting of the City Ordinances,explaining the same in detail." Alderman Pages
seconded the motion which received the unanimous vote of the members present.
