O,!Dave Lewis x$2.25; S.H.Guinn .1110.00. motion duly passed,the Clerk was directed to issue a permit to Bruce Hawkins, aged 16, to ivela car on the.streets of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,subject to the approval of Chief of Poilce. CARL SMITH, Permision was granted to Carl Smith to cut the curb for the purpose of constructing DRIVEMAY•. driveway at his property located at the N.F. Corner of Johnson and Olive Streets. SHELLY'S report showing 170 blocks cleaned during the week was presented and on motion was ordered f 43 The time having arrived for the hearing of the appeal of E.P.Watson from the action Appeal of E.P.WATSOINhe Board of Assessment for Paving Improvement District Number Forty-hhree (43) of the City ofFaletteville,Arkansas in assessing the benefits to Lot S. of Watson's Subdivision of Lot 14,block 8, County Court Addition to the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas in the sum of $330.00 Lot 9'of said Subdivision in the sum of d$300.00 and Lot 10 thereof in the sum of $300.00,ss+ !CITY AITP, BRIDGE N. Street appeal was read to the Council. V7hereupon,after due investigation by the Council,Alderman Scott moved that said assessments be reduced as follows,to-wit; Fuller seconded the motion which received the following vote; Ayes Aldermen Bynum, , Harding, Scott. -Stanford, Stephens, Wages; nays none; absent and not voting Alderman , and was declared passed by the Mayor. {I It being reported that private parties had undertaken the construction of a concrete bridge on Nothe Street in order,to provide for the convenience and safety of the public,at in expense of $225.00, and that the County Court had appropriated $75.00 toward said expense, %lder an Harding moved that the sum of $75.00 be appropriated from the City Street Fund as iI the part of the City in said expense. Alderman Wages seconded the motion which received the lowing Lot B,Watson's Subdivision, from 330.00 to the sum of x,220.00, voting Lot 9,Watson's Subdivision., from 300.00 to the sum of4p190.00 and Lot lo, Watson's Subdivision,fron $300.00 to the sum of $190.00.
