REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYF.TTFVILLE,ARKANSAS, HELD APRIL 14th, 1930.

THE MINUTES of the meetings of April 7th,1930 were read and approved.
THE FOLLOWING BILLS against the City,properly approved,were allowed and ordered paid and the Clerk was
directed to issue warrants for the same on motion by Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman

Bynum, passed by the unanimous vote of the Council and so declared by the Mayor;-

GRADE
Application for permision to alter the construction of sidewalk at Carrington's Garage on
VIALKS.
ICarrigtln 'Vest Mountain Street was granted subject to supervision and approval of the City Engineer.
and The request of Major B.R. Davidson for establishment of grade for sidewalks along lots 5 to 91
Davidlon;i Block B, Maplewood Addition to Fayetteville,was granted and the Engineer was directed to
sutply said grade.

.CURB & On motion by Alderman Harding,duly seconded and passed, permision was granted to the Fayettev

from the State,and unable to be present at this time,Alderman Harding moved that the hearing

of said appeal he continued till the next regular meeting of the Council,to be held on April',

21st,1930. TE is motion was seconded by Alderman Bynum and received the fmllowing vote;ayes
Alderman Bynum, Harding, Pearson, Scott, Stanford, Stephens, Wages, Nays none; absent and not
voting Alderman Fuller,and was declared passed by the Mayor.
The Mayor announced the appointment of Alderman R.E.Wages to be Chairman of the F6&ance
,S: Committee,Chairman of the Ordinance Committee and member of the Streets Committee,in place
of N.F.Drake, retired. Otherwise the Standing Committees of the Council remained unchanged.
Application for permision to use the Flying, Field for local commercial flying,Joy riding and.
instruction purposes was made by Ralph Heimer. Alderman Pearson moved that the application be
granted,sub,ject to the provision that said Ralph Heimer shall pay weekly, Five (5%) per cent
of the revenue derived from such use,and such other conditions as shall be specified in a

contract to be entered into by said Heimer and the Mayor,and Aviation Committee. This motions
was duly seconded by Alderman Wages and passed by the unanimous vote of the members present.',
No further business appearing the Council adjourned on motion duly passe `
