This motion was seconded by Alderman Drake and passed by the unanimous vote of the Council,and so declared by the Mayor. The Clerk then read the resolut recorded on page 200, the report of the Commissioners shown at page 262,and the Ordinance on page 373 of this record.There followed some informal discusion, but no formal action was had. AR1.1ORY: The matter of assistance by the City in furnishing the Armory was presented by FURNISHINGS: I epresentatives of the National Guard,and after full discussion by the Council Alderman Drake iioved that the sum of $900.00 be appropriated from the General Fund of the City for the use of the National Guard in furnishing the Armory,said amount being one-half of the estimated lost. This motion was seconded by Alderman Scott and received the following vote ;ayes Alder- men Bynum, Drake, Fuller, Harding, Pearson, Scott, Stanford, Stephens; nays none.
