Fr. J.H.McIlroy,as a member of the Board.of Commissioners of Sewer Improvement District
Number One,asked,that,since there seemed to be some misunderstanding concerning the plans
for disposal of the sewage from the North side of the City, such parts of the record as have
a bearing on that matter be read by the Clerk;, whereupon Alderman Pearson moved that the
read the record as requested. This motion was seconded by Alderman Drake and passed by the
unanimous vote of the Council,and so declared by the Mayor.

the 8th day of February, 1922,the sum of $2,150.00 was transferred from the General Fund
f the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas to the Street Fund of said City,which sum has not been

t was the intention of the Finance Committee in setting, aside a fixed sum for Permanent Stre
improvement that said item of the budget should be paid from the Street Funf, and
l7HEREAS :
For the better securing the hmlders of predated warrants,it has been the custom to draw such
warrants payable from the General Fund --said warrants having been issued in payment for
;paving and for, raod working equipment,and
WHEREAS:
There is now a surplus in the Street Fund,apart of which can be used for the payment of sever
lof said hiarrants without interfering with the execution of the present plans of the Street
Department,

THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS
ONE:
That the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to draw
a warrant in the sum of �?3,654,88,p ayable from the Street Fund of the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansasto the General Fund of said City to reimburse said General Fund for the payment of t

AR1.1ORY: The matter of assistance by the City in furnishing the Armory was presented by

epresentatives of the National Guard,and after full discussion by the Council Alderman Drake
iioved that the sum of $900.00 be appropriated from the General Fund of the City for the use
of the National Guard in furnishing the Armory,said amount being one-half of the estimated
lost. This motion was seconded by Alderman Scott and received the following vote ;ayes Alder-
men Bynum, Drake, Fuller, Harding, Pearson, Scott, Stanford, Stephens; nays none. The Mayor
