REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS HELD MARCH
11th 1929.
PRESENT:The City C1erk,J.C. Massie, Attorney on Trumbo, Engineer E.M. Ratliff;
' Aldermen Bynum, Drake, Harding, Jones, Pearson, Scott, Stanford; absent Mayor Allan M.Wilson
(Iand Alderman Fuller.
Alderman Pearson was chosen as president pro tempore of the Council for the meeting.
THE MINUT(((ES of the meeting, of February 25th, 1929 were read and approved.
THE FOLLOWING BILLS against the City were allowed and ordered paid and the Clerk was directed to issue
(warrants for the same on motion by Alderman Harding, secodded by Alderman Scott, passed by ti
unanimous vote of the members present and so declared by the President pro tempore; Texas
Service Station $20.60;Lucas & Cosby $0.65; Washington Transfer Co. $2.10;Dave Condra $36.00;1
and $36.00;John Zillah d$36.25; Henry Walker, $8.00;J.W.Shelley x$8.75. �
REPORTS: The monthly reports of the City Clerk, Police Judge, City Collector and the Fire Chief were]

presented and on motion were ordered received and filed.

JONES' The request of J.A. Jones for permission to cut curb for construction of
!DRIVEWAY:
' a private driveway at No. 118 East Spring was presented and on motion duly passed was granted
1 (subject to supervision of City Engineer.
In the same motion was included permision for the

construction of a private driveway at the Episcopal rectory on East Lafayette.
ITUCK'S H.L. Tuck requested permision to alter the sidewalk on Meadow Street at his Filling Statia
DRIVEVAY:
(which was granted ,subject to the approval of the City Engineer.
EXECUTIVE At this time the Council went into Executive Session for the purpose of
SESSION:
giving a confidential hearing to several representatives of companies desiring to secure
(gas franchis in the City.

No further business appearing the Council, at the close of the �
executive session, adjourned.

investigation and report. This motion was second^d by Alderman Harding and duly passed.
591.51) The Clerk reported that he had filed with the County Court a claim for $591.51 due the
