REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS, HELD FEBRUARY 25th, 1929.
PRESENT: The•Clerk, J.C. Massie, Attorney Don Trumbo, Engineer E.M. Ratliff;
Aldermen Bynum, Drake, Harding, Jones, Pearson, Scott, Stanford; absent the Mayor Allan M.
Wilson and Alderman Fuller. Alderman Harding was chosen President pro tempore of the
Council for the meeting.
THE MINUTES of the meeting of February 18th, 1929 were read and approved.

)WING BILLS against the City were alloived-•"and ordered paid and the Clerk was directed to

by the unanimous vote of the members present and so declared by the President pro tempore;

At this time the consideration of the proposed ordinance providing for the
annexation of certain territory to the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansa
which said ordinance was on its second reading, was resumed.
After a thorough discussion of the matter by members of the Council and by a number of pers
interested,Alderman Drake moved that the Ordinance be placed on its third reading and final
passage. Alderman Jones seconded the motion which received the following vote; ayes Alder-
men Bynum, Drake, Jones, Baerson, Scott, Stanford; nays Alderman Harding; absent and not vo
Alderman Fuller. The President pros tempore declared the motion passed. The Ordinance was
read the third time. The President pro tempore then announced the question before the Coune
is shall the ordinance pass and called for the vote on its passage, which resulted as follo
ayes Aldermen Drake, Jones, Pearson, nays Aldermen Bynum, Harding, Scott, Stanford; absent
not voting Alderman Fuller. The President pro tempore denlared that the ordinance did not
pays. A petition regarding parking on Dickson Street was presented,and on motion was order
received and filed.
The engineer was directed to establish grade for sidewalk at Lot 9 Block 6, Englewood.
The matter of driveway into Stubblefield(s Filling Station was referred to the Street
Committee for investigation and report.
No further business appearing the Council adjourned. "
