Ratliff; Aldermen Bynum, Drake, Fuller, Harding, Jones, Pearson, Scott, Stanford. ES of the meeting of September 17th, 1928 were read/ and approved. KING BILLS against the City, bearing the proper vouchers and the approval of the Auditing Co „ ittee were allowed and ordered paid and the Clerk was directed to issueg warrants for the same on motion by Alderman Pearson, seconded by Alderman Scott, passed by the unanimous vote of the Council and so declared by the Mayor; Dave condra $36.00; Greer Abstract Co. $60.00; Don Trumbo $30.00; Also; on motion by Alderman Pearson, seconded by Alderman Bynum I and passed by the unanimous vote of the Council, the Clerk was directed to issue to Mayor Allan M. Wilson, a warrant in the sum of 0Y75.00,to be used by him, or so much thereof as may, be needed to defray his expenses while attending the special session of the Arkansas Legis- lature for the purpose of securing action by said Body favorable to Cities in the matter of raod construction. I The matter of granting a permit to Fenner Stice for the installation of a curb gasoline pump at Lot 5b, Block 2, Original Town,coming on for consideration, and no objection having been! i made -by any one to such installation, Alderman Jones moved that the permit issue, and the Clerk be and he is hereby directed to issue a written permit granting to said Fenner Sjaice permission to install a curb gasoline pump at Lot 5b, Block 2 Original Town,now City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,location to be determined by the City Engineer, expenses of locating to be pdid by said Fenner Stice. Alderman Scott seconded the motion which received the fol owing vote; ayes Aldermen Bynum, Drake, Fuller, Harding, Jones, Pearson, Scott, Stanford; and was declar ed passed by the Mayor. Appeals I The Cle k reported the filling of the appeals of B.F. Davidson and C.T Harding from the i?illow Ave I.D.; action of the Board of Assesso"s of Willow Avenue Improvement District,whereupon Alderman Scott moved that the hearing off said appeals be continued to October 8th, 1928. This motion' was duly seconded by Ald rman Stanford and passed by the unanimous vote of the Council. IIu1PR.DISTR. Shaffer rd. 697 reating Alderman Harding introduced an ordinance providing for the formation of an Improvement .D. 41; District according to the above and foregoing petition which was read the first time. Alderman Harding then moved that the Rules be suspended and the ordinance palced on its second reading, This motion was seconded by Alde=rman Pearson and received t're following vote ayes Alder,-ien Bynum, Drake, Fuller, Harding, Jones, Pearson, Scott, Stanford; nays none; absent and not voting none. The Mayor declared the motion passed. The Ordinance was read the second time. Alderman Fuller themn moved thaty the Rules be further suspended ngnd the ordinance pplaced on its third reading and final passage. This motion was seconded by Alder- man Scott and received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Bynum, Drake, Ful&er, Harding, Jone Pearson, Scott, Stanford; nays none; absent and not voting none. The Mayor declared the motion passed, The Ordinance was read the third time.
