PURSUANT TO ADJOURNMENT, the City Council of the City of FMyetteville, Arkansas met in the' Council chamber,at 7;30 P.M. of September 5th, 1928, when there were present The Clerk, and Aldermen Bynum, Ii1$9Tt# Fuller, Harding, Jones, Pearson, Scott, Stanford, Absent Alderman Drake, and the Mayor. The following proceedings were had and done;- The Mayor being absent, Alderman Harding was duly elected to be President pro tempore of the Council for the meeting. A The President pro tempore announced the purpose of the meeting to be the hearing of in certain Improvement 0istritts;to-wit Water Improvement District Number Two; ment DistAict Number One; Annex to south College Avenue Improvement District Number One; Cur and Gutter District Number 38 and Paving District Number 39. The Clerk presented the appeal of Mrs Anna Wyatt, praying a reduction of the assessment of }12.50 against each of lotj> 7 and 8 in Block 4 Mitchell's Addition to the City of Fayetteville iArkansas. Alderman Stanford moved that said assessments be each reduced from $12.50 to $8.50. Alderman Bynum seconded the motion which received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Bynum, 331'ai2�, Fuller,Harding, Jones, Pearson, Scott, Stanford; nays none; absent and not voting Alderman Drake, and was declared passed by the President pro tempore. I Alderman Drake entered at this time. The Clerk presented the appeal of HIrs anna Wyatt praying tce reduction of the assessment of $112.00 against lot 6 in Block 4 Mitchell's Addition to the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas. 'Alderman Drake moved that said appeal be denied, Alderman Scot seconded the motion which ries i received the following vote;- ayes Aldermen Bynum, Drake, Fuller, Harding, Jones, Scott, i Stanford; nays Alderman Pearson, absent and not voting none, and was declared passed by the I President pro tempore, and the appeal denied. Alderman Stanford moved that the appeal be denied as to each of CL Chambesaid Lots. Alderman Drake seconded the motion which received the following vote; ayes Aldpr-; men Bynum, Drake, Fuller, Harding, Jones, Pearson, Scott, Stanford; nays none; absent none; (The President pro tempore declared the motion passed and the appeal denied. The President pro tempore declared the motion passed and the appeal 'denied. Alderman Bynum then moved that the vote on the foregoing motion be reconsidered. Alderman Pearson seconded the motion which received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Bynum,; Harding, Pearson, Scott, Stanford; nays Ald mmen Drake, Jones and Fuller.
