I Alderman Drake introduced an ordinance providing for granting a gas franchise to John cCulllugh, of Tulsa,Oklahoma which was read the first time. Alderman Harding moved that the Rules ie suspended and the ordinance placed on its second reading. the motion which received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Bynum, I Alderman Drake seconded Drake, Fuller, Harding, Pearson, Scott, Stanford; nays none, absent and not voting Alderman Jones. The Mayor.Declared the motion passed. The Ordinance was read the second time, and referred to the Gas Committee, Cravens I The City Engineer reported concerning. the sewer connection at the Cravens property on Colle Sewer; Avenue, that it was his understanding than said commection had been made. Cutting Alderman Drake moved that in all cases arising from requests for sewer connections or wate ,pavement;i connections,which may hereafter be referred to the City Engineer "with power to act", the sai engine r shall require said connection to be made by means of a tunnell if the street be pave with concrete. Alderman Harding seconded the motion which received the unanimous vote of the Council, and was dedlared passed by the Mayor.
