Alderman Harding moved that the Mayor be authorized to work the road leading to the grounds of the Western Methodist Assembly. Alderman Jones seconded the motion which received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Bynum, Drake, Fuller, Harding, Jones, Bears on, Scott, Stanford Nays none. The Mayor declared the motion passed. Alderman Drake reported progress in the matter of conferring with the Governors of the Cha of Commerce, and requested additional time, which was. accordingly granted.
