The Mayor, Clerk; Aldermen Bynum, Drake, Fuller., Harding, Jon s, Pearson, Scott, Stanford; absent, none. rQ CCA � ,G of the meeting of January 9th, 1928 were read and approved. BILLS against the City, bearing the proper vouchers,and the approval of the Auditing Committee were allowed and ordered paid and the Clerk was directed to issue warrants for the same on motion by Aldrman Scott, seconded by Alderman Fuller, passed by the unanimous vote o the Council and so declared by the.Mayor;-Wages Bros. $16.30;H.B. Walker $4.00; J.W. Shelley $9.00;Democrat Publishing Co..$11.04; Goss- Rogers Electric Co. $20'900,&C, Ratliff ,$2.22; h Claud H. Boyd, $7.50;Washington County Hardware Co. $7.65; A.C. Hart $25.00; Ben Porter $29.0I0 Dave Conrda $36.00; Will.Flowers $19.25. A petition asking.that a street light be located on East Dickson Street between -Washing and Willow was presented to the Council.and.on motion was referred to the Light committee for investigation and report. A revised Assessment list for Improvement District Number 36, and also for Improvement Dtatriot number 37 was filed with the City Clerk, whereupon Alderman Harding moved that the j of Assessment list of Improvement Districnumber 36, I City Clerk be and he is ddkrected to.publish notice of such filing/according to law. Alder- j I man Scott seconded the motion which received the unanimous vote of the Council and was declare passed by the Mayor. Alderman Harding then moved that the Clerk be directed to publish notice of the filing of the Assessment of Improvement District number 37, according to law. Alderman Scott seconded this motion which received the dnanimous vote of the Council and was declared passed by the Ma yor. The Mayor's report of Street work done since the filling of his last preceeding report was presented and on motion was ordered received and filed. Alderman Stanford called up the Rabies Ordinance and requested that the same be put on its ;third reading and final passage; there being no objection the ordinance was read the third time. Afton•uom The mayor then announced the question before the Council is aahll the ordin pass and called for the vots on its passage, which resulted as follows;- eyes Aldermen Dra Pearson, Stanford; nays Aldermen Bynum, Fuller, Harding.
