posalpresented a report, recommending the passage of an ordinance setting forth the conditi(

hauling refuse. The report was ordered submitted to the City Attorney with instructions to
prepare an odrinance for submission to the Council.
SERVICE k1derman Harding called up the ordinance providing for cancellation of the Service Charge nou

made by the City Water Plant and moved that the same be placed on its third reading and fins
passage. Alderman Jones seconded the motion.which received the following vote; ayes Alder=
men Harding, Bynum, Jones, Scott, Pearson, Stanford;Fuller; nays Alderman Drake, absent
and not voting none. The Mayor declared the motion passed. The Ordinance was read the third
time. The Mayor then announced the question before the. Council is shall the Ordinance pass,
and called for the vote on its passage which resulted as Follows; Ayes Aldermen Harding, Jot
nays Aldermen Drake, Bynum, Scott, Fuller, Pearson, Stanford; absent and -not voting none.
The Mayor declared the Ordinance defeated.
ALDERMAN Pearson moved that the•Mayor appoiftit•a committee to confer with the Board.of Managers of Chi
City 17ater Plant on the, matter of the indebtedness of the Plant to the City General Fund.
r Aldermen Jones seconded the motion which received the unanimous vote of the Council. The Ma;
declared the•motion passed, and appointed as such committee lldermen Drake, and Stanford,

Committee, were allowed and ordered paid on motion by Alderman Harding, seconded. by Alderman
Fuller, passed by the unanimous vote of the Council and so decalred. by the Mayor; Viz,

In the matter of the controversy with the County Judge as to the occupancy of the offices in
the Court House, the Mayor reported that the Supreme Court had made permanent its restaainin
order until such time as the matter in controversy shall be heard and detremined by said
Court on its merits.
