CALLED ME7TING OF THE CITY COUNCIL HELD
NOVEMBER 10th, 1927.
PRESENT:JThe Mayor, Clerk; Aldermen Hadding, Drake, Bynum, Scott, &uller, Pearson, Stanford; absent
Alderman Jones.
TEH READING of the Minutes was deferred to the next regular meetin.
PURPOSE;JThe Mayor stated the purpose of the meeting to be the consideration of the matter of making
a reduction in the water rates of the City hater Plant, the supplementing of the depleted
revenues of the City by appropriating a portion of the said revenues;fovt,trho* and confering
with the Board of Managers of the said Plant with reference to said matters.
SPEAKERS': In addition to the Mayor and the various members of the Council, remarks were made by
members of the Board of Water Managers, The City Engineer, and the City Collector.and the
City Attorney.
(After a thorough discussion , Alderman Pearson moved that the Board of (Managers of the

"all hand directed to allow a discount? n all water bills, provided the same are paid on or befor

Bills; the 10th day of each month; and that this order shall become effective January 1st, 1928.
IAlderman Stanford mov6dip seconded the motion which received he following vote; ayes Alderme
Harding, Drake, Bynum, Scott, Fuller, Pearson, Stanford; nays none; absent and not voting
IAlderman Jones. The Mayor declared the motion passed.

ON PLAN TO Alderman Pearson then moved that the Mayor appoint a committee to be charged with the d

ATE PART of devising a plan whereby $250.00 shall be transferred, monthly c.from the funds of the

FUNDS: City [Rater Plant to the General Fund of the City of Fayetteville. This motion was seconded
by Alderman Stanford and received the following vote Ayes Aldermen Drake, Bynum, Scott,
Fuller, Stanford Pearson; Nayes Alderman Harding; absent and not voting Alderman Jones. The
Mayor declared the motion passed.
The Mayor appointed as such committee Aldermen Pearson and Stanford to work in conjunc-
tion with himself as Chairman.
No further business appearing the Council adjourned.

vote of the Council,except Alderman Bynum, absent, and so declared by the (Mayor; -Dave Condra
