REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNIL HELD
NOVEMBER 7th, 1927.
PRESENT, The Mayor ,Clerk; Aldermen Harding, Drake, Bynum, Jones, Scott, Fuller, rearson, Stanford;
absent, none.
THE MINUTES of the meeting of October 31st, 1927 were read and approved.
THE FOLLOWING BILLS against the City, bearing the proper vouchers, and a»proval of the Auditing Com-
mittee were allowed and ordered paid and the Clerk was directed to issue warrants for the
Alderman Drake and received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Harding, Drake, Bynum, Jones,
Scott, Fuller, Pearson,Stanford, nays none; absent and not voting none. The Mayor declared
motion passed. The Ordinance was read the second time, and so femains on the calendar.
QUARTERS: The committee charged with the duty of seeking quarters for the offices of the City
,several available places, but no action was taken in the matter.
No further business appearing, the Council adjourned,

The reports of the City Clerk, Police Judge, Fire Chief and the Purchasing 1igent were pre-
sented and on motion were ordered received and filed.
GARBAGE
Mr Kopt presented a proposition to the Council for the removal of Garbage and waste. After

some informal discussion Alderman Harding moved that a committee consisting of the Mayor,
the City Health Officer and Aldermen Bynum, Fuller and Stanford was appointed to confer with

Kopt, endeavor to arrive at an equitable arrangement, and report to the Council. This

motion was duly seconded and passed,
SERVICE
Alderman Harding introduced an ordinance providing for the discontinuance of the Service
