Regular Meeting of the City Council,
Held June 27th, 1927.
Present: The Mayor, .'Aldermen Bynum, Drake, Pearson, Fuller, Scott, Stangord, and Harding.
' Absent: The Clerk, Alderman Jones. j
On motion made by Alderman Drake, seconded by Alderman Stanford, and passed by the unamious vote of
all listed present and so declared by the Mayor, Alderman Harding was chosen to act as Clerk.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The following bills, approved by the Finance Committee, were presented, and on motion by Alderman
Scott, seconded by Alderman Bynum, passed by the unanimous vote of all listed as present and so de-
clared by the Maggr, were allowed, and the Clerk directed to issue warrants in payment thereof: Magnolia
Petroleum Co., $12000, City Transfer, $2.16; Reads Plumbing $3.90; Southwest Power Co., $381.35; City
Transfer $1.50; Dave Conger, $36.000
Alderman Harding moved that the communication from Elmer Vorwood and Mr. Elam regarding the opening
of street be referred to the Magor and the City Engineer, who is to report on the matter at the next
meeting of the city council. Alderman Stanford seconded the motion which received the unanimous vote of
all members listed above as present.
' Mrs. Rhino and Mrs. M. Lollar appreared before the council to ask for aid in grading, rolling and
draining the playground at the West Side. For this work they asked $300.00. Alderman Harding moved that
the zmzttxgx matter be Yefferred to the finance committee. Alderman Fuller seconded the motion which was
adopted by the unanimous vote of the member present and so declared by the Mayor.
There being no Panther business to come before the Council the mooting adjourned, subject to call.

Chief were nresented , read to the Council and on motion duly passed were ordered received
and filed.

Boards of Improvement shall annually, during th5 month of September, file with the Clerk of
the City a settlement showing all collections and money received and paid out, with the
proper
vouchers for
all such
payments;
now,
therefore, be it
resolved by
the Council of the
City of
ayetteville,
that the
Clerk of

City lay before
this Council
a report filed
