Alderman Watson then introduced a resolution to ps4x appoint a Board of Assessors for
DISTR al
33; Improvement District Number Thirty-three, and moved its adoption. This motion was seconded
y Alderman Scott and received the following votes ayes Aldermen Phillips, Price, Harding,
lrake, Bynum, Scott, Watton; nays none; absent and not voting ,Alderman Jones. The Mayor
eclared the motion passed and the Resolution adopted. A copy is as follows;-

Ivy IO�AE IT RESOLVED BY THE (CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
That E.E. Trippe, M.W. Moore and H.M Hudgens, three gialified electors of the city of
yetteville, Arkansas, are hereby appointed to constitute a Board of Assessment of the
nefits to be received by each lot, or block, or other subdivision of land within Improve -
lent District Number Thirty-three (33) of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,by reason of the',
proposed improvement, Bert Watson.
Passed and approved this 3rd. day of January, 1927,

Alderman E'rake, for the Finance Committee presented a report on the Financial condition of ,
the City, together with the proposed budget for the year 1927. After some discussion, the
adoption of the budget was defered to the next regular meeting,
The rronosed plan of egializinr assessments in Improvement Districts, and providing for an
expert assistant for the various Boards of assessment was discussed at some length, but no
action tvas taken. On motion the matter was deferred to a meeting to be held on the 11th day
of .January, 1927.
