PRESENT: The Mayor, Clerklidermen Drake, Hhillips and Price; absent, Aldermen Harding, Mintun, Wages. There being no quorum the Mayor declared the meeting adjourned, subject to call. Attest; 0�PlhN '�� Approved; Clerk. Mayor. CALLED MEETING OF THE CITY CPUNCIL HELD APRILlst, 1926. PRESENT: The Mayor, Clerk; Aldermen Drake, Mintun, Phillips and Price; absent Aldermen Harding and Wages. MANTES: The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. REPORTS: The report of the City Purchasing :Agent for the month of March, 1926 was presented and on motion was ordered received and filed. BILLS: The accounts of the Street Cleaners together with the bills listed below were allowed and the Clerk was directed to issue warrants for the same; Jim Mitchell x;18.00, Andrew Munds $24.00; A.R. Byrnes, annual rent for City Wagon Yard to April lst, 1927 $750.00;Adams Flower Shop $3.50;Fayetteville Coal Co'. $5.50; Gibson Oil Co. $2.25, W.L.Crouch $9.00; Earl Blew $2.50;Kelly-Phipps Oil Co. $25.35; James Dinwiddie $32.50. AMENDMENT PETITION: - On motion by Alderman Price, seconded by Alderman Drake and passed by the unanimous -vote of the members present the Mayor was authorized to employ a canvasser to secure signatures to the petition for Constitutional amendment allowing Cities to issue bonds.
