REPORTS; of Street Sweepers, received and filed; the clerk directed to issue warrants as usual t to the sweepers; Jim Mitchell $18.00; Andrew Munds, ,24.00; MOTION , b y Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman Iviintun to direct the Clerk to issue warrants in payment for the bills approved by the Auditing Committee; passed by the unanimous vo vote og the Council. ' RESOLUTION: Introduced by Alderman Price, eho moved its adoption, second, Aldo Harding,vote; ay ayes; Aldo Harding, I.4imtun, Phillips, Price, Wages; nays none, absent and not voting Aldo Drake; Declared passed by the Mayor; J RESOLUTION: WHEREAS, there is a vacancy in the membership of the Board of Assessment of North College Avenu Improvement District Number One; THEREFORE .be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas that J.R.M BATES be, and he is hereby appointed a member of the BOARD OF ASSHSSLLtiNT of North College Avenue Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and that all resolutions or parts thereof in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed, and this resolution shall be in force and effect from and after -its passage and approval. Wilson, Mayor. v :1.037 ORDINANCE; To regulate the Office of the City Engineer, was called up by Alderman Harding, who moved that the ordinance be placed on its third reading and final passage, this motion was duly seconded and received the following vote; ayes, none; nays, Aldermen Harding, TvI Mintun, Phillips, Price, Viages; absent and not voting, Alderman Drake, and was declared lost by the Mayor. ORDINANCE; intriduced'by Ald rman Mintun, creating a City Park, was read the first time. Alderman Harding moved that the Rules be suspended and the ordinance placed on its second reading. This motion was seconded by A1drman Mmntun, and received the following vote; ayes, Aldermen Harding, Mintun, Phillips, Pricw, wages; nays none; absent and not voting Alderman Drake, and was declared passed b y the Mayor.
