Alderman Price introduced an Ordinance providing for the improvement of the inter-
sections of certain streets, which was read the first time.
Alderman Price moved that the Pules be suspended and the Ordinance placed on its sec-
and reading. `Phis motion as seconded. by Alderman Drake and received the f llowing vote
ayes Alderman Drake, Harding, ;.±intun, Phillips, Price, Wages; nays none; absenta and no
voting none, and aas declared passed by the president pro tempore. .
Alderman Drake then moved that thr Rules be further suspended and the Ordinance
placed on its third reading and.final passage. This motion ,-ias seconded by Alderman
?ages and received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Drake, Harding, I:?intun,;Phillips,
Price, Wages; nays none, absent and not voting none, and was declarer passed by the
President pro tempore. A copy is as iollows;-

i:!HEREAS, the re has been formed and created within the corporate limits of the City
of Fayetteville, Arkansas,a certain Improvement District known as Wall Street Improvemen
District Number One of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas;
VIHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Fayetteville to aid in constructing and
maintaining permanent streets, constructed under the improvement district plan; and
WHEREAS,the City of Fayetteville has assumed part of the expense of improving
streets in other improvement districts;

FECTION ONE;
That ther is hereby appropriated o t of the Gene al Fund of the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas,the usum of Four Thousand Dollars, to be used by the Commission
ers of ',:all Street Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville, �,rkansa
in permanently paving the intersections of all streets within said improvement District
and otherwise permanently improving the same.
SN6TION TWO;
That the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, be, and he i
is hereby, authorized and directed to draw five warrants of equal amounts,in favor of
whomgoever X0 said Board of Commissioners may designate,and at such times as said Boar
may request,not to e teed in the aggregate, ho:ever,the sum of spur Thousand Dollars.
Said Five warrants shall be drawn serially,so that one warrant shall become due and
payable each year after date of issue.
SECTION THREE;
That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in forceirom and after its
passage, approval and publication.
