Present; the Mayor, Clerk, Aldermen Harding, Mintun, Phillips, Price; absent, Aldermen Drake and Jackson. Th'e minutes -of the previous meeting were read and approved. The report of the Street Commissioner for the week ending April llth,1925 was read and on motion was ordered received and filed. Alderman Harding ::loved that the payroll of the street laborers be allowed and the Clerk directed to issue warrants for the same. Alderman Phillips seconded this motion which received the following vote; yes Alderm n Harding, FvIintun, Phillips, Price; nays none; absent and not voting Aldermen Drake and Jackson and was declarer p ssed by the Mayor. Payroll; Charles Wilcox, $'16.50; D.C.Condre $ 18.00; Jim Mitchell $13.50; T.PT,*Jebstrr $15.00. Alderman Harding moved that the bill of the Election ommissioners for the City Election held April 7th,1925, for $105.00, be allowed and the Clerk directed to issue a warrant for the same. Alderman Hhillips seconded the motion which received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Ha harding, Mintun, Phillips, Price; nays none; absent and not voting Aldermen Drake, Jackson, and was declared passed by the Mayor. The bills of the Ozark Filling Station, $27.85; W.A.Gregg, $8.00; Abshier-Bryan Motor Co., $5.25, and $2.60; Democrat Printing Co., $6.75; and the Democrat Publishing Co., ----- -were om motion referred to the Auditing Committee. The following bills were returned by :he Auditing Committee as correct and Alderman Harding moved that they be allowed nd the Clerk direeted to is ue warrants for the same. Alderman 2hillips seconded the motion which received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Harding, Mintun, Phillips, Price; nays none; absent'and not voting Aldermen Danke and Jackson, and was declared passed by the Mayor.
