BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE, CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANBAS;
SECTION ONE:
That hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person, persons, firm or corporation to
construe*
or install a gasoline or oil station for the purpose of dsitributing.gasoline, oils, w
,,,water or Air to the public,individuals or vehicles of the public or individual upon the Streets
Li_''or Alleys of the City of FZLyetteville, Arkansas.

SECTION TWO:That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to supply gasoline,
vlil, fjvtwair or waterto any person,/ persons, or to vehicles belonging to any person or persons,
CLfirm or corporation,through hose or any other appliance which shall extend across tl.e sidewalks
�V OjA) the public streets or alleys of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
E�Y' ON THREr :
That no person shall be permitted to cut through,remove or molest a City sid ewalk
in the •ty of Fayetteville, Arkansas ,f or the purpose of making a drive or entrance to a filling
Statiom,e�eept upon the following conditions;
(a) That a pefmit be granted by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, "rkansas,in accord
ance with plans submitted to the.Council'convened.
(b) That the grade of the drives when constructed shall slope toward the center of the street
and tha slope,shall no be greater than one (1) inch in three f3) feet.
(c)That no drives shall be.constructed in a manner such that it will permit y6#JlX'o flood
p water to leave the natural'•,course on the street and flow upon private property.
O (d) That all walks constructed\in the City Streets or Alleys for use as entrance to Gasoline or
Oil Stations shall be constructed of Portland Cement Concrete of not less than 6 inches in thic
ness nd shall be corrugated parallel with the street,said corrugation t�IXIIAhall not be more
tn 5,inches ap6rt or less than oy'w-fourth of an inch in depth.
SECTION FOUR:
That ny violation of Section One of"this Ordinance shall be punishable by a fine o
\� � %f not less than ;10.00 or more than $15.00 and that each day that Section One of this Ordinanc
IJP is violated shall constitute a separate offense.

j That any violation of Sections Two l•nd Three of this Ordinance shall be punishable
by a fine of not less than $10.00 or more than $15.00.

That, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,

declared passed by the Mayor.

Alderman Phillips moved that the Mayor be authorized to purchase from the Arkansas National
Banka table and nine chairs for the Council Chamber,and to dispose of the table and the
light fixture now owned by the City. This motion was seconded by Alderman Mintun and received
the following vote; ayes Aldermen Drake, Harding, Jackson, Mintun, Phillips, Price, and was
declared passed by the Mayor.
Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman Phillips moved that the Chairman Of the Fire Com-
mittee be authorized to make such changes in the wall of the Office at the Fire House as were
necessary to provide more space for the front entrance. This motion received the unanimous v
ovte (affirmative) of the Council.
Alderman Harding introduced an Ordinance providing for a reduction in the license fee
of Real Estate Dealers, which was read the first time. Alderman Jackson moved that the Rules
be suspended and the Ordinance placed on its second reading. This motion was seconded by Alde
' man Price and received the following v1te; ayes Aldermen Drake, Harding, Jackson, Minton,
Phillips, Price; nays, none absent and not voting none and was declared passed by the Mayor.
The Ordinance was read the second time. Alderman Harding then moved that the Rules be further
suspended .nd the Ordinance placed on its third reading and final passage. This motion was
seconded by Alderman Phillips and re..eived the. following Vote; ayes; :Aldermen Drake, Harding,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS;
SECTION ONE: l
That Section two of Ordinance number 430,passed and approved on the 5th day of
August, 1921,be amended to rend as follows; Each applicant for a license under the provisions
of -this Ordinance shall pay to the City Collector of the City of�ogayetteville, Arkansas,
Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars per annum,and said City Collector shall issue to such applicant
a license, authorizing said applicant to engage in the business of Real Estate Broker or Rent',
al Agent,for a period of One year from the date of said receipt.
SECTION TWO:
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage,
approval and pmblic�.tion.
Passed and approved this 9th day of March, 1925.

Zone within the City of Fayetteville, which was read the first time. Alderman Harding then mov
moved that the Rules be suspended and the Ordinance placed on its second reading. This motion
was seconded by Alderman Drake, And received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Dra ke, Harding
Jackson, Mintun, Phillips, Price; nays none; absent and not voting none, and was declared pass
ed by the Mayor. The Ordinance was read the second time. Alderman Harding then moved that the
Ordinance be referred to the Ordinance Committee. Alderman Jackson seconded this motion which

A request from The St.Louis- San Fransisco Railway Co., for an extension of time
for -the construction of the sidewalk across their Right-of-way on Hill Street
was presented to the Council. On motion by Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman
Drake and carried by the unanimous vote of the entire Council,all members being pH0
. present, the Clerk was directed to notify the St.Louis San Francisco Ry Co. that
their request was granted and the time extended to April 23rd, 1925.
Alderman Phillips moved that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby author -
!zed to sell and transfer to the Goss -Rogers Electric Company an undivided One -Half interest
' in the South wall of the Fire House for tha sum of Four Hundred an8 Fifty (0450.00) Dollars.
This motion was seconded by Alderman Price and received the Following vote; ayes Aldermen
Drake, Harding, Jackson, Idlntun, Phillips, Price; nays none; absent And not voting none, and

0'1111� "All vehicles parking on the Public Square shall do so by heading into the curb, on
1 the right hand side of the street in the direction in which the vehicle is going, at an angle
"l of forty-five (45) degrees.
Upon all other streets within the City of Fayetteville, except the Public Square
all vehicles shall park on the. right side of the street, in the direction in which such vehicl
II is going, parallel with tX//c//J6 and not to exceed on foot from the curb. All vehicles so park
ng on all streets of the City of Fayetteville,including the Public Square, shall do so as
indicated by the painted traffic lines on such street or Public Square.
SECTION 'TVIO:
That this Ordimance be in force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication,and all Ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith be, anti the same are
hereby repealed.

On motion duly put and. unanimously carried, and so declared by the Mayor, the Clerk was
directed to place on the Payroll of the Fire Department the namse of Will Poor, at $100.00
per month, and Allen Strain at $50.00 per month, effective as of February 1st, 1925; and to
issue warrants for the said amounts.
No further business appearing, the Council adjourned to I.4_rch 16$h, 1925.
