The report of the Street Commissioner for the week ending January 3rd, 1925 was received and filed. Alderman Harding moved that the payroll of the Street laborers together with the bill of -the Express Company and the bill of the City Engineer be allowed and the Clerk directed to issue warrants for'the same. This motion was"seconded by Alderman Drake, and received the following vote; ayes Alderman Drake, Harding, Jackson, Blintun, Phillips Price; nays,none; and was declared passed by the Paesident pro tem. Alderman Hackson moved that the City Engineer be insttucted to furnish a gr -,de for sidewalks on one block of Storer Street, North of Douglas. Alderman Drake seconded this motion which received the following vote; ayes Alde-rpen Drake, Har ing, Jackson, Mintun, Phillips, Price,axid was declared passed by the President pro tem. Alderman Mintun moved that"the bills which have been approved by the Auditing CImmittee be allowed and the Clerk directed to issue warrants for the same; this motin was seconded by Alder- man Harding and received the following vote; ayes Aldermen Drake, Harding, Jakkson, Mintun, Phillips, Price, and was declared passed bar the President pro tem. Alderman rice moved that the Rules be suspended and the Ordinance placed on its second reading. This motion was seconded by Aldrman Jackson and receiv ed the following vote; aye Ald rmen Drake, Harding, Jackson, Mintun, Phillips, Price; nays none; absent and not voting, none, and was declared passed by the President pro'tem.
