SECTION SEVEN; That no license issued under this ordinance shall be transferred,except by the
consent of the City Council of the City of.Fayetteville,, Arkansas,and no license shall be trans
£erred in any event more than once, and never from one business to another.
SECTION LIGHT; Any person, firm.or Corporation or agent thereof, violating any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction in the
police court of the City, shall be fined in any sum not less than the amount of the license
provided for in the section violated, nor more than double .such amount for each offense, and e
each day of said violation shall constitute a separate offense.
SECTION NItiL: Each license shall be posted in a conspicuous place where such business or cc
corporation is carried on and the holder of such license shall immediately show the same to
any officer of the City, upon being requested to do so.
SECTION TEN: Should any section or provision of this ordinance be for any reason held void
or invalid,it shall not affect the validity of any other section or provision therelf, which is
not itself void or invalid.
SECTION ELEVEN: This ordinance shall not repeal provisions for licenses contained in ordina
nances previously adopted,except as expressly shown herein.
' SECTION TWELVE`: The City Council may by unanimous consent thereof, all present, for the
purpose of charity, or when it is shown that the public good requires it,reduce or remit the
whole,or any part of the license imposed by this ordinance.
SECTIO11 THIRT D,1Q:This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after January
1, 1925.

'lle, the undersigned citizens of the City of•Fayetteville, Arkansas,and of the district here
in described and set forth, respectfully pray that the City Council of the said City of Fayett
ville, Arkansas, take all the necessary steps and pass all the necessary Ordinances, Resolution
and Orders to lay off that portion of said City as hereinafter described in an -improvement Dis-
trict to be known as 'East Spring Street Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayette-

provisions of this resolution in the manner and within the time herein prescribed, the said
City of Fayetteville, Aransas, may contract with some suitable person for the construction
of said curbing on the best terms that can be made,.fter giving reasonable notice to such
owneror the agent in charge of said property, of an -intention to do so. And said City of Fay-
ettev ille, Arkansas,may pay said person for so constructing said curbing, and the amount so
paid., together with six (6) per centum penalty added thereto shall constitute a charge against
the ownerof said property,and said charge shall be a lien on said property from the date of
the commencement of said work, and shall be collected in the manner and form provided byt
statute in such cases mdde and provided.

son to place a step at the South end of the sidewalk on the 1.a:t side of the Square;andeat the
East end of.the sidewalk on the South side of the Square; also at the ';";est end of the c•idewalk on
the Forth side.of Dickson Street at .lest Avenue. This motion r,�s seconded by Alderman Phillips,

A communication from Dr. G.'".Garrison, head of the State Health Department was read -to the Co

Ge eral Fund to assist in the establishing of a County Health Unit as outlined in the communicate

cy by the grading of Lever.ett Street, the City, construct without cost to said Hency a sidewalk
along the Leverett Street front of said property. This motion was seconded by .Alderman Phillip
