On motion made by Ald. Phillips,seconded by Ald. Niintun and carried by the unanimous'gote of the Council,permission was granted Mr.Eoff to errect said sign. The City Engineer submitted a verbal report in regard to the cost of construct- ing cement culverts on Walnut Street and on Rebecca Avenue;and on motion made by Ald. Harding,sec- onded by A1d.Phi1•lilis and carried by the unanimous vote of the Council,the City Council agreed to appropriate a sum of money equal to -the amount of money raised by property owners effected,to con- struct two culverts on Walnut Street. On motion made by Ald. Phillips,seconded by Ald. Harding and carried by the u- nanimous vote•of the Council,the City Engineer was authorized to let contract for the construct- ion of a culvert on Rebecca Avenue a$ a cost not to exceed the sum of $ 50.00.
