the signers of the Petition constituted a majority in value of the real property in the said Diel
trict. 'hereupon >ldernan Stephens introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption.

cation from the I.:oreno-Burkham Construction Co.and at the request of the Council _ttorney Geo.

Having re,l:uested by you to render an opinion as to whether or not the Cit.. will be Cafe
in issuing a warrant for -?6500.00,due five years afterodate,in favor of the Commi:,Oioners of
4110 'venue Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville, or..inrfavor of any
one whom sa6d Commissioners may designate,in accordance with a resolution passed by your Honor-
able Jody on December 18th,1922, I Trish to state that it is my opinion that hhe.City will be
perfectly "safe in doing so when said Commissioners have issued their note as such Commissioners
or given other security for the payment of the same,as`the District will be Liable for the
indebtedness incurred by said Commissioners as such.
