Frank Barr, Tom Taylor,K. Armstrong, Dr. Bolen I,Toore,and others presented a protest against the proposed extra assessment against Annex Thurber Two to the East Street Improvement District,and on motion by Alderman Phillips, seconded by .'.lderman Jackson,and daij put and carried, the Liayor appointed -a committee consisting of r'_lderme("A Phillips, Stephens and Price to confer with the Commissioners of the District as to the aid given by the City in caring for the nater on Dickson Street,where the extra expense had been incurred, and to report a_t the next regular meeting of the Council. Cn motion by _lderman Harding, seconded by Alderman Hinton, The City ..ngineer was directed to establish a line for the erection of Light and Phone Poles on a certain streetb in City Park _ddition,in response to the request of Idr.
