determined hereafter by the Board of Improvement of said Improvement District. .
JiCTIOIT FOUR: That th is Ordinance be in force and effect from aftd after its passage;
approval and publication;and all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict,herewith,
be, and the same are hereby repealed.

On motion of Alderman Price,seconded by Alderman Phillips, a committee,consisting of t
the I.layor, the City Attorney,and Aldermen. Price Phillips and !.lintun was appointed to secure
the services of an Atorney to assist in representing the City in the Light Rate Case,
Alderman Price's report on the location of sidewalks on ':ialnut Street was to the
effect that they should be put dorm in line with those already laid,which report was eceiv
ed,and the committee discharged. yr
On motion,the Council adjourned to meet at 7;30 P.I.I. January 22nd,1923.

Pursuant to adjourment, the City Council met at 7;30 P.I.I.January 22,1923.
The meeting was called to order by the Kayor. Present at roll -call Aldermen Jackson,
!.lintun, Phillips, Price, Stephens; Absent Alderman Harding

The following accounts against the City were reported as correct by the Auditing Com.
and on motion by Alderman Price,seconded by Alderman Phillips,and carried by the following
vote- lyes Aldermen Jackson, !.!intun, Phillips, Price, Stephens,ilays none, Absent and not
voting Ald. Harding,were allowed and the Clerk was directed to issue Warrants for the Jame.

The Financial Report of the City Clerk for the year 1922 was presented and on motion
by Alderman Phillips,seconded by Alderman !.lintun, wasordered received and filed,subject
to the inspection of any interested citizen.
The I:,ayor appointed l,Srs. Grace Bridenthal to fill the unexpired term of i;iiss A.i;.Knesal
as City Collector,effective February First,1923. On motion by Alderman Phillips, seconded
by AldermanPrice, the Council voted unanimously.to ratify the appointment.
lilderman Jackson introduced the following Resolution and moved its addoption. The motio

aid given by the City in caring for the vruter on Dickson 3treet,where the extra expense
