Dr. A.S.Gregg, the City Health Officer ..as present and made a detailed rel:ort of the
of the activities of his Department from the beginning of his term of officeto date. This
report shoes the Health and Sanitary conditions of the City to be in a very;kgratifying state.
On motion by Alderman Harding, seconded by Alderman Idintun,and passed by -the unanirpous
vote of the Council,the City .:ngimeer Frac directed to make the necessary survey to show the
amount of water supplied by Johnsom Spring,the fall from the spring to the pump station on
Clear Creek,and the lands the City mould have to purchase to secure the s"ring,and convey the

PURSUANT to adjourment, the Council met at 7;30 p,m. December 22nd,1922; Present, I.iayor
..11an i.:...ilson, C1erY, Massie, Aldermen Harding, Jackson, iaintun, Stephens, Price
ha minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved.
Complaint was made that the driveway immediately north of the Ozark Theatre had been a?q
closed,and the Council was reeuested to ascertain whether or not the same was a public alley.
On motion by Alderman Harding,seconded by Alderman I.Iintun, hte City Attorney and the
Oity ngineer were instructed to investigate the matter and report az early as possible to the
..ayor. .
Henno was present and addressed the Council in regard to the establishment of the
street and sidewalk grade on South -ast Street;and in response to the urgent solicitation of i.s.
henno, Alderman Harding moved tha the City ingineer be instructed to establish the said grades.

Harding, Jacksom, L.iintun, Stephens; Nays none, Absent and not voting, Alderman Philli.s, Price.

The Commissioners of i.iont ilord Improvement District Ilumber One requested the passage of
a resolution in refference to the assessment of the said District.':.'hereupon Aldermen I"intun intro.
duced a resolution and moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Alderman Harding,the vote
being; Ayes Aldermen Harding, Jackson ,:.Iintun, Stephens, and Price. i:ays none, absent and not
voting, Alderman ihillips.The i.Iayor declared the motion carried ant, the resolutilbn -passed.

:•hich rias read by the Clerk. :.'hereupon Alderman Price moved that the rules be suopenced and the
ordinance rolaced'on its second reading. This motion was seconded by Alderman Jackson,and carried

and not voting, Alderman Phillips. alderman Jackson then moved that the rules be further sus-
pended and the ordinance placed on its third reading and final passage,seconded.by Alderman

Section 1. That section 8 of Ordinance no. 371 be amended to read as follows;
That it shall be•unlawful for any person, -firm, corporation or association,,?hether common
carrier or not,to accept from another for shipment or transportation or delivery,or to shi-
transport,or deliver for anotherany of the liquors,bitters and drinks referred to in'secti
1 of this ordinance,or any of them when received At any point,place, or localityin the Cit;
of Fayetteville,to be shipped or transported to,or delivemed to another person,firm, cvvpo:
ation or association, or at any other point, place, or localitywithin said City of Fayette
