December 22nd,1922; Present, I.iayor ..11an i.:...ilson, C1erY, Massie, Aldermen Harding, Jackson, iaintun, Stephens, Price ha minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. Complaint was made that the driveway immediately north of the Ozark Theatre had been a?q closed,and the Council was reeuested to ascertain whether or not the same was a public alley. On motion by Alderman Harding,seconded by Alderman I.Iintun, hte City Attorney and the Oity ngineer were instructed to investigate the matter and report az early as possible to the ..ayor. . Henno was present and addressed the Council in regard to the establishment of the street and sidewalk grade on South -ast Street;and in response to the urgent solicitation of i.s. henno, Alderman Harding moved tha the City ingineer be instructed to establish the said grades. 11:is motion was seconded bt Alderman ..lintun,and resulted in the following vote; eyes Aldermen Harding, Jacksom, L.iintun, Stephens; Nays none, Absent and not voting, Alderman Philli.s, Price. The Commissioners of i.iont ilord Improvement District Ilumber One requested the passage of a resolution in refference to the assessment of the said District.':.'hereupon Aldermen I"intun intro. duced a resolution and moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Alderman Harding,the vote being; Ayes Aldermen Harding, Jackson ,:.Iintun, Stephens, and Price. i:ays none, absent and not voting, Alderman ihillips.The i.Iayor declared the motion carried ant, the resolutilbn -passed.
