RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Mayor declared the ordinance duly passed, andea copy is as follows: ' ORDINANCE NUM] ER 459 AN ORDINANCE entitled on Ordinance contracting with Moreno-Bu&kham Const. Company, a corporation., to repair and make improvements upon certain streets in the City aif Fayetteville, Arkansas, and to furnish the necessary ma- terial, work and labor for the sa.:;e and to provide for the payment of said material, work and labor. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, nrkansas. SECTION 1. That repairs, and improvements be made upon the following named streets in the City of Fayetteville,_ at the places herein named, to -wit: The intersection of Church and Spring streets; intersection of Dickson and Church streets; intersection of Locust and Dickson streets; intersection of Rolston and Dickson streets; intersection of Campbell and Dickson streets; intersection of School and Dic::son streets; intersection of ',lest and Dickson streets; intersection of Gregg and Dickson Streets; intersection of Scott and West Streets, and to construct an under -drain near the intersection of Dickson and West Streets. SECTION 2. That said improvement shall consist of paving of the intersections of said streets and the construction of necessary cul- verts and drains, to take cure of the drainage which must pass under the paving from the paved streets from the adjacent territory next to said intersection of said streets, and an under -drain nJar the intersection aE Dickson and West streets. SECTION 3. The City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, by the Council of said City, hereby contracts with the Moreno-Burkham Construction Company, a corporation, for the said i•ioreno-Burkham Construction Company, a Corpo- ration, to do and perform the work and labor, and furnish the necessary materials for the repair and construction as herein set forth on said streets, and at said intersections of streets as herein mentioned, said improvements to be according to the plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas. The City of Fayetteville agreets to pay said company for the same as follows: For all work, labor and material furnished, the City of Fayetteville agrees to pay as follows: For eighteen hundred square yards of asphaltic concrete pavement, the sum of Four dollars -and twenty-five cents per square yard; seven hundred and sixty linear feet of curbing and gutters at one dollar and twenty-five cents per linear foot. For culverts and drains, three hundred and ten cubic yards of concrete in place, at twenty dollars per cubic yard; f udreg and fifty cubic yards of earth excavation at one dollar and fiftY(ic" yards -es +h +: A+_spis a ,,- - - r -a three hun- . dred and eighty t^ro linear feet of culvert tile at three dollars per linear foot in place; six catch basing at eighty dollars each; Six grate covers at thirty dollars each. Total amount to be paid b;, the City on this contract is the sum of seventeen thousand two hundred and eighty-two dollars, which amounts the council finds to be a fair and just compensation for said material furnished, and work and labor to be performed in such improvement.
