Ald Harding moved that the Finance Committee be instructed to get a list of
Ciyy Warrants issued by the City for the various Improvement Districts and
present an Ordinance at the nest meeting covering the same, which was duly Sec by
Ald Jackson, resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ham,Hardin g,Jackson,
Isfassie,Price,Stephens,Nayes none,Absent and not voting none,President Pro Tem
declared the motion adopted.
No further business coming before the Council metfonx moved and carried
to adjourne to meet subject to call.

CALLED MEETING CITY COUNCIL HELD FEBRUARY 8th91922.
Present Mayor,Clerk,Ald Ham,Harding,Jackson,Massie,Price,Stephens.
This meeting called for the purpose of devising ways and means of cashing the
City Warrants so as to enable the Commissioners of Annex No 1 to East Street
Improvement District No 1 to finish paving West Center Street.
Ivlr.A.E.Collier one of the Commissioners was present and discussed the matter
with the Council.
After some discussion by all present Ald Price moved that the amount of $7150.00
be transferred from the general Fund to the Street Fund and the Warrants drawn
on the Street Fund in favor of the Commissioners of Annex No 1 to East Street
Improvement District No 1 be paid from the funds so transferred, which was duly
Sec by Ald Massie, resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ham,Harding,Jackson,
hiassie,Price,Stephens,Nayes none,Absent and not voting none,Mayor;declared the
motion adopted.
No further business coming before the Council,moved and carried to adjourne
to meet subject to call.

CALLED MEETING CITY,COUNCIL HELD FEBRUARY 10th,1922.
Present Mayor Clerk,Ald Ham,Harding,Jackson,Massie,Price,Stephens,
Ald Massie introduced an Ordinance leving the assessemnt upon the real property
located within Annex No 2 to East Street Improvement District No 1 which was read
the first time, whereupon Ald Harding moved that the rules be suspended and the
Ordinance be placed upon its second reading which was duly Sec by Ald Price,
resulted in the following. vote Ayes Ald Ham, Harding, Jackson ,Mas sie,Price, Stephens,
Nayes none,Absent and not voting none,ldayor declared the motion adopted.
Ald Massie moved that the rules be further suspended and the Ordinance be placed
upon its third reading and final passage, which was duly Sec by Ald Harding, r
resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ham Harding, Jackson ,Massie ,Price, Stephens

DISTRICT NUi.1:2 ONE OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS. "
NHERE:4S, The majority in value of the property holders owning property
adjoing the locality to be affectbd,and situated in Annex Number Two to East
Street Improvement Dittrict Number One of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,
organized for the purpose of paving with Asphaltic or Concrete pavement,
the streets and parts of streets within said Annex Number Two to East Street
Improvement District Number One of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,have
petitioned the City Council of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,for the construct-
ion of said improve ment,and that the costs thereof, shall be assessed upon the
real property of said disttict,according to the benifits to be received; and
VMER.AS, said benifit received by each block,lot and parcel of real
property situated in said district,equals or exceeds the local assessement; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is 329000.00.
