herein provided,and as heretofore provided,
TEIRIFORE IT IS NOVi ORDAI17LD BY TIL CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLt::
SI.CTION 1. That the said several blocks,lots and parcels of real property in
said District be assessed according to the assessment list for said Improvement
District,as appears on said assessment list for said additional assessments,
and as the same now remains in the -office of the City Clerk,and that.12 2 per
centum on each of said blocks,lots and parcels shall be paid annually on or
before the 1st day of October,in each year, until the whole of said local
additional assessment shall be paid.
SiCTIO14 2. The said additional local assessments shall be a charge and a lein
against all real property in said District from the date of this Ordinance,and
shall be entitled to preference over any judgements,executions,incumbrances or
liens.when soever created,and shall continue until such additional 1Q&1
local assessments with all penalty and costs that may accrue thereon shall be
paid,as =pjtr required by lati.and the said Board of
Improvement may,as provided by law,pledge said additional assessments upon
such terms as the law authorizes and permits.
SLCTIO1% 3. That all Ordinances in conflict herewith,are hereby repealed,
and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and publication,
as required by laws

Ald Harding intorduced An Ordinance regulating the construction of sidewalks,=b
curbing and guttering which was read the first time, whereupon Ald Harding moved
that the rules be suspended and the Ordinance be placed upon it second reading,

Ald I.:assie moved that the Drgx±xxxJ=P±aR collection of the Dog Tax be placed
in the hands of Jay Shelley or any person_ that the i.ayor may select, and that
said Collector be allowed the penalty fee thereon, which was duly sec by Aid Ham,
motion was put and carried.

General Fund and the Clerk draw warrants in favor of A.L.Trent for the maintainance
of City Park and Public Camping Grounds until other wise oredered by the Council,
