The board was called to order by the president. All members was present.
The presddent of the Board announced that the matter to come before the
Board was the question of requesting the•City Council to make another assessement
on the property of the District,for the purpose of completeing the improvement
originally contemplated by the organization of said District. From the proceedings
of the Board,and from the actual knowledge of the members of the Board,said Board
is of the opinion that the assessement first levied has proved insufficient to
complete the original improvement contemplated.
Thereupon,.the following resolution eras introduced,and after due discussion, ?

proved insufficient to complete the original improvement contemplated by the

WI REAS, it is desired by the Board that a report of the amount of the
deficiency be made to the City Council,as provided under Section 5665 of

THt,T the City Council be,and the same are hereby informed by this report
that the original assessement made, has proved insufficient to complete the original
improvement as contemplated,and that this Board has duly ascertained that to complete
said original improvement as contemplated,it is necessary to have levied and collected '
under the law,and from the tracts.and parcels of land described in the original
proceedings organizing said improvement district, the sum of 03300.00, and that the
City Council be authorized,directed and requested to ;rake another assessement on the
property previously asseseed for a sum sufficient to complete the improvement,and
that said sum be collected in the same manner as the first assessement.
B--!] IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the original valuation of property in said
district,being the total valuation for the Rurposes of making the assessements for
making said improvement was the sum of 2:kx 205,250.00. Under the last assessement
said "roperty was valued at the sum of 5220.600.00. There has been collected of the
assessement rothe sum of 010,245.00. There has been previously issued bonds by said
— district in the sum of 022,500.00. There has been previously paid on bonds and
interest the sum of 137,135.00. There remains unpaid and outstanding,bonds in the
sum of 4x18,500.00. The said additional assessement will not be in excess of,but
will be under the 20;'j allowed by lar.
Bl: IT FURT2R RESOLVED: That said City Council be recluest"ed to take
immediate steps necessary for the making of said assessement,and that thereafter
this Board take the proper steps necessary to borrow the money pledged as security
for the re-pay!nent of the same,all the un -pledged assessements and the additional
assessements provided for herein,and to be provided for by the City Cauncil,and
that the president of the Board and Jih Secretary,duly sign and attest this
resolution,and present same to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville,
AzkEn=with reouest that same be spread upon the minutes of that honorable
body,and that the neeessary ordinance be passed without delay,to carry out the
purposes of this resolution".
There being no other business to come before this meeting,said meeting '

whom and what for. The Counci shall then take his duplicate receipt book andwritten report and audit the ame.
