the ast line of Block Street, except the portion of i.ieadow Street which is included
in .ast Street Improvement District Number One, and Spring Street between the West

Section One. That after careful consideration, the City Council of the City
of Fayetteville,:.rkansas, finds that there is a total assessed valuation of
,9158,100.00 of real property within said district, according to the last assessement
on file in the Office of the County Clerk of ':Tashington County,Arkansas, and that
persons signing said petition own property within said district of<the assessed valuation
of N82,510.00, according to said assessement.
Section Two,. That it is the finding of said City Council of said City of
Fayetteville Arkansas, that the majority in assedsed valuat.on of ownars of real
property within Annex Number One to Last Street Improvement District Number One of
the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas, have signed said petition; and the said district

that the rules be susaended and the Ordinance be placed upon it second reading, which

the motion adopted.
Ald Eassie moved that the rules be fmrther suspended and the Ordinance be placed

WHEREAS, a majority in value of the owners of real property on the streets, and
parts of streets, located in the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas, to -wit:

The minutes of the previous meetings was -read and approved.
A communication from the Fire Chief giving a list of the property of the Fire.D�
Dept was read, Whereupon Ald Harding moved that same be referred to the Finance
Committee to check over,wnich was duly sec by Ald Price,resulted in the folloe✓ing
vote,Ayes Ald Ham,Harding,L4assie,Price,Stephens,Nayes none,Absent and not voting
Ald Jackson,I:ayor declared the motion adopted.

the Council asking the City to help the District with an appropriation so that the
District be paved, giving figures on the width of the different streets, after some

the request of the Commis sioners of Willow Avenu Dis rict,, for n um of not
over $750.00 per annum be granted for a period of 10 years, which was duly sec

The reports of the various City Officals for the month of June was read whereupon
Ald Harding moved that the reports bez referred to the Bi --ante Committee which

the motion adopted.

declared the motion adopted.
T.Jayor appointed Ald Stephens on the Auditing Committee and Ald Price on the
Light Comittee,.
The Light Committee recomended that a light be put in on Wall Street at the Frisco
Viaduct,and on Forrest Avenue and &Iaple Street and 3 lights placed on the Ornamental
poles on Dickson Street, which was duly sec by Ald Massie, motion was put and carried.
Lr S.Holland was present and requested t permission from the Council to enstall
a Phone for the Taxi Stand on Dickson Street, Ald Massie moved that the same be
referred to the Mayor with power to act, which was duly sec by Ald Price, resulted
in the following Vote Ayes Ald Ham,Harding,I1assie,Price ,Stephens JTayes none,Absent
and not voting Ald Jackson.Mayor declared the motion adopted.
The report of the Acting Street Commissionero'was handed in by the Street Committee
Ald H arding moved that the report be received and filed, which was duly sec by
