The Committee appointed on the Vetinary hospital matter submitted the following report which was read to the Council, to -writ: To the P.1ayor and City Council, Your Committee, appointed to investigate the matter of.granting a permit to Dr.J.F.Standford to erect an annex to the vetinary hospital, submits the following report; The proposed annex, according to the plans and specifications submitted by the.City Engineer, complies with the requirents of the City Ordinances applicable to'the matter. i The surrounding property will not be injured or endangered by the bui=ding of the annex, as it will materially improve the appearance of the hospital property, and will more effectually protect the other property from contact with,and from sight of the work done in the hospital, than does the present arrangement. ' The City Board of Health, in a communication signed by Lnr.W.J.Reynolds the Secretary, expresses the opion that the institution can be run in a sanitary condition, and promises to see that is so conducted in the future.. `-'he letter of-11r.Reynolds is hereto attached and made',, a part of this report.
