This meeting was called for the purpose of taking steps to.have the Fire Hydrants around the Square placed over by the Post Office Building and also the Light Poles on the corner being in the way hg,$xm.x and have them moved. Ald Harding moved that the Layor be authorized to see the Water Commissioners and make whatever necessary arrangements to move the Fire Hydrants around the Square to the corners at the Post Office Grounds, this was duly sec by Aid Wages, resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambrose,Ham,Harding,Lassie,Flages,llayes none,Absent and not voting Ala Stephens,11ayor declared the motion adopted. Ald Harding that the I,Iayor be asked to see the Post I.1aster and see if they would move the 1.1ail Box at the N.E.Oorner of the gquare north several feet„ which was duly sec by Ald Ham, resulted in the following vote Ayes Aid Ambrose,Ham, Harding, Massie,adages,Nayes none,Absent and not voting Ald Stephens. Ala i:assie introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption,to-wit: j y- 1q1A RESOLU`T'ION. VIEREAS, Eagk Street, in the City of Fayetteville, is very much in need of additional lights, and '.M41RBS, at least three additional lights should be placed on.said Eagle Street. 1TO.7,THERFOR• , BE Il^ RESOLVED BY TIE, CITY COUNCIL OF TI: CI`T'Y OF FAYET'1'EVILI"E, .�-RKkITSAS : That the Fayetteville Gas and Electric Company, be respectfully urged and requested to place three additional wtvym street lights on said Eagle Street, at the point place to be designated by the Mayor of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas. Ald Harding moved that the accounts against the City for the month of January that.* have been O.K. by the Auditing Committee be allowed and Clerk issue warrants for same, which was duly sec by Ald }Pages, resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambrose,Ham,Harding,I.Iassie,Stephens,:'Iages,Ilayes none,Absent and not voting none. I.Wyor declared the motion adopted.
