REGULAR i.!EETIIIG CITY COUiTCIL FELD FEBRUARY 4th,1921,
Present I._ayor,Clerk,Ald Ham,Harding,I;assie,Stephens,',7ages,Absent Aid Ambrose.
The minutes of the previous meeting was read but not approved on account of objection
being raised having certain petitions copied therein and Clerk was directed to
rewrite them,
Er.Hope ryas present and asked permission of the Council to erect a pole on West
i.Iountain.Street opposite of the i":ashington Hotel for a telephone for a Taxi
Stand, whereupon Aid I3assie moved that the permission granted which w<_s duly sec
by Aid Ham, resutled in the following vote Ayes rld Ham,Harding,I:;assie,Stephnens,
:Iages,Na yes none Absent and not voting Aid Ambrose,:.;ayor declared the motion adopted.
The reports of the various City Officals for the month of J�.nuary was read whereupon
Aid Harding moved that the reports be referred to Finance Committee for investigation
which was duly sec by Aid '.*ages, resulted in the following cote Ayes Ald Ham,Harding,
Lassie,Stephens,':Iager,T?ayes none,Absent and not voting Aid Ambrosa,Ilayo-r declared
the motion adopted,
The following accounts ag ainst the City for the month of January was read to -wit:

Aid Massie moved that the/ -attorney be instructed to bring suit against the S.P[.
Bell Tel.Co. to collect the Pole license due the City. -under the License Ordinance,
which was duly sec by Aid '.7ages,resulted in the following vote,Ayes Aid Ham,Harding,

Aid Lassie introduced an Ordinance repealing Section 7 of Ordiance i?o 402, which '1 -4 -as
read the f±xxzatfirst time, ^Thereupon Ala Harding moved that the rules be sus•.ended
and the Ordinance be placed upon its second reading, which was duly sec by Aid ;.lassie
resulted in the following vote,Ayes Aid Ambrose,Ham,Harding,I.7assie,Stephens,'47[ages,

moved that the rules be further suspended and the Ordiance be placed upon its third

An Ordinance repealing section seven of Ordinance Number 402,
Be it ordained by the City Council of Fayetteville,_irkansas, That section seven (7)
of Ordinance No 402 passed and approved on !.larch 20th,1920, be and the same are
hereby repealed.

The Street light Contract is about to expire according to a letter from the Light Co
which rias read to the Council,Ald Harding moved that same be referred to the Light
Committee, which was duly sec by Ald !.lassie, same was carried. i.oved and carried to
