The minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved. The reports of the various
City Officals for the month of b?ovember was read, whereupon Ald Harding moved that the
reports be referred to the Finance Combittee for investigation, which was duly sec by
Ald Ham,resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambmose,Ham,Harding,ivassie,�liages,Nayes
none,Absent and not voting Ald Stephens,kayor declared the Imotion 'adopted.
The following accounts against the City for the month of November was read to -wit:

Ald Massie moved that the communication be filed, which was duly sec by Ald Ambrose, resulted

Ald Harding introduced an Ordinance creating Willow Avenue Improvement District Number One
which was read the first time, whereupon Ala Ald Harding moved that, the rule. be suspended
and the Ordinance be placed upon its second reading, which was duly sec by Ald Ham, resulted
in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambrose,Ham,Harding,i,Iassie,ilages,Nayes none,Absent and not
voting Ald Stephens,I,?ayor declared the motion adopted.
Ald Harding moved that the rules be further suspended and the Orclinance be placed on its
third reading and final massage, which was duly sec by Ald Ambrose Ham,lTarding.1,Tassie,

An Ordiance, laying off certain territory within the corporate limits of the City
of Fayetteville,Arkansas, into an Improvement District,for the purpose of improving
Davidson Street,from the East line of College Avenue to the West line of VIM= Avenue;
Washington Avenue,from the North line of Dickson Street to the South line of Davidson
Street; Willow Avenue, from the idorth line of Dickson Street to the South line of REtdm
Rebecca Street; Sutton Street, from the East line of "lashington Avenue to the East line
of 'Jalnut Avenue; Olive Avenue, from the North line of Lafayette Street to the South line
of i,ianle Street; Lafayette Stre.:t, from the East line of College Avenue to the West line
of 1.1ission Avenue; and Walnut Avenue, from the North line of Sutton Street to the South
line of :.1aple Street;'designating the number of the district, defining the boundaries
thereof, and naming the same.

held on the 5th day of November,1920,a petition, signed by Ten (10) owners of Real -
property within the District hereinafter described in Section one (I1) of this Ordinance

consisting of grading,rolling and macadamizing the following streets and parts of streets,
as may be more fully dertermined hereafter by the Board of Improvement of said District,

Section four. That this Ordinance be in force and effect from and after its passage
a proval and publication; and all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.

H';.RE_.S; there is now an imperative need of some effective way of taking care of
the over flow water from the two aboe named Streets;
"M(H:SIAS, this part of said improvement is rightfully the ding of said City;
ITO'I,THLRi7FORE,BE IT RESOLV D BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS:
That if the property owners will organize and perfect said Improvement District, and
will pave said Streets,the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,will agree to expend not to
exceed the sum of Twelve Hundred (01200.00) by the way of providing a suitable and effective
way of taking care of the over flow w ter from said ':lest Dickson Street and North ':lest Street.
