The minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved. The reports of the various City Officals for the month of b?ovember was read, whereupon Ald Harding moved that the reports be referred to the Finance Combittee for investigation, which was duly sec by Ald Ham,resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambmose,Ham,Harding,ivassie,�liages,Nayes none,Absent and not voting Ald Stephens,kayor declared the Imotion 'adopted. The following communication was read to the Council to -wit: Fayetteville Ark. Dec.lst,1920. City Clerk, Fayetteville,Arkansas. Dear Sir:- recounte have had a recount made of our poles and are herewith inclosing a statement showing the number of poles on each street. Ald Harding introduced an Ordinance creating Willow Avenue Improvement District Number One which was read the first time, whereupon Ala Ald Harding moved that, the rule. be suspended and the Ordinance be placed upon its second reading, which was duly sec by Ald Ham, resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambrose,Ham,Harding,i,Iassie,ilages,Nayes none,Absent and not voting Ald Stephens,I,?ayor declared the motion adopted. RESOLUTION. ��� 17REREAS, there is noir✓ in nomp x contemplation a certain Improvement District within the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas, to include, among other streets !lest Dickson Street,and North West Stre t; H';.RE_.S; there is now an imperative need of some effective way of taking care of the over flow water from the two aboe named Streets; "M(H:SIAS, this part of said improvement is rightfully the ding of said City; ITO'I,THLRi7FORE,BE IT RESOLV D BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,ARKANSAS: That if the property owners will organize and perfect said Improvement District, and will pave said Streets,the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,will agree to expend not to exceed the sum of Twelve Hundred (01200.00) by the way of providing a suitable and effective way of taking care of the over flow w ter from said ':lest Dickson Street and North ':lest Street.
