The minutes Zf the previous meeting was read and approved with corrections,
x number of Citi.:ens was present and adressed the Council in regard to the License
Ordinance working a hardship on some of them on account of it that a person could only
' take out a license for each •person and for no less than a year, after some discussion
by the council Aid Harding moved that the :.Iayor appoint a committee to amend the
License Ordinance, which was duly sec by Ala Wages,resutlea in the following vote,Ayes,

Brokers being so high and asked the Council to loner the license, whereupon Aid Harding
moved that the same be ±x be referred to the Ordinance Committee,which was duly sec by

The following Petition was read to the Council,to-wit:

The I.ayor and City Council of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas.
' The undersigned Cit izens of Fayetevile and Property holders
on South Block Street xt=B amthrespect£u.11y request that you;
1. Repair South Block Street from the Square to South Street.
2. :stablish a grade for gutters on the same and order the property holders to put
in concrete gutters on both sides of the Street, and sidewalks where there are none.
3. That the driveway be made of the presnt width from the Square to Rock Street,
and that it be made 20 feet aide from Rock Street to South Street..
