specifications for the construction of
an Awning for
the.Ozark
Grocer Co
was submitted to the Council after same was examined Ald Eassie moved that the Council
grant a permit for the construction of same, which was duly sec by Ald Ambrose, resulted
in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambrsoe,Ham,Massie,Stephens,l7ages, Nayes none, Absent
' and not voting Ald Harding,Blayor decalred the motion duly adopted and the permit granted.
No further business coming up,moved and carried to adjourne to meet subject to call.

On account of certain matters not being worked out the Council adjourned to meet
at the next regular meeting night,Friday ,September 3,1920.

The minutes of the previous meetings was read and approved.
The reports of the various City Officals for the month of August was read,mmt whereupon
Ald Lassie moved that the reports be referred to the Finance Committee for investigation
which was duly sec by Ald Nages,resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambrose, Ida.ssie,
Stephens,'.:ages,Nayes none,Absent and not voting Ald Ham,Harding,I:ayor declared the
motion adopted.
The following accounts against the City for the month of August was read to -wit:
Atkins & Son $8.42 ,Red C oss Drug Stvre $1.15, 17.L.Crouch $8.30,Thomas & Son $5.50,
Dem Prtg.Co.0.00,Dem Pu;.Co.$70e4O,Pierce Oil Corp $5.27, Whereupon Ald Stephens moved
that the accounst as read be referred to the Auditing Committeee for investigation
which w as duly sec by Ald I:Iassie, resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambrose,
Ilassie,Stephens,Vlages,Nayes none,Absent and not voting Ald Ham,Harding,IVie.yor declared
the motion adopted.
Ald Ambrose moved that the Mayor be allowed the sum of 50.00 back salary and expense
and Clerk draw warrant for the said sum of $50.00,which was duly sec by Ald Stephens;
resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambrose,Massie,Stephens,Wages,Nayes none,
' Absent and not voting Ald Ham,Harding, IJlayor declared the motioon duly adopted.
Moved and carried to adjourned to meet subject to call.
