The minutes of the previous meetings was read and approved.
The reports of the -various City Officals for the month of July was read ,whereupon
Ald Lassie moved that the reports be referred to the Finance Committee which was
duly sec by Ald Stephens,resulted in the following vote,Ayes Ald'Ambrose,Ham,
'
Massie ,Stephens ,'3ages,Llayes none•,Absent and not voting Ald Harding,i.iayor decalred
the motion adopted.
The following accounts against the City for the month of July was read towit:

17hereupon Ald ?.lassie moved that the accounts be referred to the Auditing Committee
which •aas duly sec by Ald Ham,resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Ambrose, Ham,
liassie,Ste-ohens,Vages,Playes none,Absent and not voting Ald Harding,I,iayor declared
the motion adopted.
Ald i.assie moved that the Clerk, draw a warrant in favor of the Frisco R.R.Co for
freight on a barrel of Seco Powder for the sum of 5$10.51 and also a warrant in
favor of C.D.Shurnaker for the sum of $5.00 for a city directory both to be drawn
on the General Fund,,;hich was duly sec by Ald S7ages,resulted in the follovring vote
Ayes Ald Ambrose,Ham,Hassie, Stephens ,Vlages,Nayes none,,kbs•.nt and 'not voting Ald
Harding, aajor declared the motion adopted.
Ald I.;assie introduced a resolution appointing a Board of Assessment for East
Street Improvement District Number One and moved its adoption, which was duly sec
by Ald Ham, resulted"in the following vote Ayes 'Ald Ambrose, Ham,Ilassie,Stephnns,
WagesNayes none,Absent and not voting Ald Harding,I;aybr declared the motion
adopted.and a copy is as follows:'

and '.I.L.Crouch,three electors of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas, were appointed
to constitue a Board of Imps Assessors of the be4Cits to be received by each
lot or block, or other sub -division of land within East Street Improvement District
Number One of the City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,
AND VMREAS, the said J.C.Uhite,A.H.I,arkle and W.L.Crouch failed to take
oath of office within the time required by law, and whereas it further appears
that J.0 White is disqualified to serve as one of said assessors,
NOW THEREFORE Bi: IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

Arkanses,by reason of the proposed improvement.
