This ',meeting was called for the rpose of taking up the matter of paying the pumping bill - - of the-1ight-Co.- The Water -Plant being-in--arrears-on-the pump ng,-bi-11-_and the-Light_Co.- wanting some action taken in regard to the payment of the bill. _-Af-ter- some discussion -by the_C.ouncil_Ald-i:tassie-moved that the'I!.6ay-or_be instructed to sigma check on the ';later Fund in favor of The Fayetteville Gas & Elect.Co. for the balance T_due -on_the _Pumping bill due to Iuiay 11920,said check to be dated June 10,1920o this motion was duly sec by Ald Harding, resulted in the folloviing vote Ayes Ala Ambrose,-Ham;Harding, EassieE., ,Stephens,Vlages,Nayes none,Absent and not voting none.ayor declared the motion adopt -The {Committee appointed -on-the renting-of--the-City-Hall-rep orted--that-they --recommended- that the City Hall not be rented.
