BE IT RESOLVED BYIHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE- CIT'Y-OF FAYETTEVILLE,AKANSAS: That the City Clerk is hereby directed -to cause -to -be published a notice in accordance with Section One (1),Act One hundred and Twenty five (125) Acts of Arkansas, 1913,adreased to all, owners o f'_ real_.property,within_Ea•st.-Street Improvement District Number One of tie City of Fayetteville,Arkansas,that apetition was presented to the said Council on the 5th day of March,1920,requesting that the contemplated improvements_ be unci= undertaken,and that the costs thereof -6­echarged and assem3ed against the real property within said District,and tat on the 16th day of Apri1.1920, the said Council will determine whether or not said petition is signed -by such majority in assessed value. Aid Stephene moved that the Cl erk be -instructed -to-notify E;A-.hudd that the action of the Council in giving him a permit to enstall a gasoline tank in front of his Store Building has been reconsidered .and -that-he .is-prohib.i-ted-from-enstalling- the same until .further notice,which was duly sec by Aid Harding, resulted in the following vote Ayes Aid Harding,Massie,Stephens",Wames,P7-ay-es- none.,Ab_s_ent and -not -voting Aid Ambrose ,Eam,Acting Mayor declared the motion adopted. Aid Harding introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption,Towit: RESOLUTION* BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. CITY-COTPCIL- OF -THE CITY-OF--FAYETTEVILLE.AP.YANSAS: Section 1. That hereafter the salary of -the City Attorney of -the City of Fa.yettevilb Arkansas, shall be $600.00 per annum,payable monthly, at the end of each month,beginni ing April let,1920. And the City Clerk -of -said-City-of Fayetteville is hereby author iz ed and directed to issue a warrant, monthly, for said sum of $50.00 in favor of said City Attorney of said City of Fayett evill e. Saction 2. Tha.t hereafter the salary of -the City Clerk -of t1fe-City of Fayetteville,Aft Arkansas shall be $600.00 per annum.payable monthly,at the end of each month,beginnin; April lst.1920. An'd theCit'y Clerk of said City' of Fayetteville,is hereby authorized amd directed to issue a. warrant,monthly,for said sum of $50.00,in favor of said City Cl sk of said City of Fayetteville. - - Section 3.
