Minutes of the Meeting of December 5th,1919 was read and approved.
?dr.W.J.Hamilton and C.C.Yarrington appeared before the Council and:a.ddressed the Council
asking for an donation of $1000.00 to the Fund of the Oink Play Grounds,for advertising
the advantages of the City of Fayetteville, no action was taken at -this time•it being
deferred until a future date-# ---- ----- -- -
Ald Massie moved that the City Attorney be instructed to carry the Scott case to the
Supreme Court,wh.ich was duly sec --by Ald-Ha-rding,resulted- -in--the-following-vote Ayes Ald
Hamm,Harding,Ms.ssie,Wages,Nayes none,Absent and not ,voting Ald Ambrose ,Stephens,Mayor
declared the motion adopted.
Moved and carried to adgaaxn[KCtxx a.djourne BNJ4=8 to meet subject to call.

--- none,Ab :ent.and not voting Ald Ambroae,Hamm,Mayor declared the motion adopted.

Ald Harding'introduced an Ordinance authorizing the purchase of an Typewriter which

and the Ordinance be placed on ita second reading,which was duly sec by Wages,resulted in

Ald Ambrose;Hamm.Mayor declared the motion adopted: Ald Stephens moved that the Oidia
rules be further suspended and. -the. ord.inance-be _pla c_ d -on its third and final reading,
