The Minutes of the Meeting_of December 5th,1.619 was read and approved.
Mr.w.J.Hamilton and C.C.Yarrington appeared before the Council and addressed the Council
asking for ari donat-ion of 4I000.00 to the Fund of the Ozark Play Grounds,for advertising
the advantages of the City of Fayetteville, no action was taken at.this time -it being
--r deferred until a -future -date;+- ------ _
Ald Massie moved that the City Attorney be instructed to carry the Scott case to the
__-_.__.__Supreme Court,which was duly -sec--by-Ald-Harding,resulted in -the- following- vote -Ayes Ald
Hamrri,Harding,Massie,Wages,Nayes none,Absent and not,voting Ala Ambrose,Stephens,Mayor
declared the motion adopted.

The reports of the various City Officals for the month of December 1919 was read.whereupon
- -Ald Harding mdved that the--reports-be-referred totheFinance Committee, ffiich was duly sec
by Ald Massie.resulted in the following vote Ayes Ald Harding ffias-sie.g tephens,W'ages,Nayes
- none.Ab :ant and not voting-Ald Ambrose_,Hamm,Mayor declared the motion adopted.

Ald Harding'introduced an Ordinance authorizing the purchase of an Typewriter which
.Was read`the first time;whereupon A Id HuAK*x Harding moved that -the. -rules be suspended
and the Ordinance be placed on itx second readirg,which was duly sec by Wages,resulted in
the following -vote Ayes-Ald-Hard-ing.Massie.Stephens,Wages.,htayes none,Absent and not voting
